1. Our services
TJA Strategies provides digital marketing and advisory services to businesses and organizations, including search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO), paid search and paid social advertising, social media management, website design and development, business profile and listing setup, analytics, and marketing consulting. The specific services we provide to you are described in your proposal or service agreement.
2. Proposals and service agreements
Client engagements are set out in a written proposal, statement of work or service agreement that describes the scope, timeline and fees. That document, together with these Terms, makes up our agreement with you. If anything in a signed proposal or service agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed document controls.
Work that is not described in your proposal is outside the agreed scope. We will tell you before doing out-of-scope work and agree on any additional fees with you first.
3. Fees, billing and cancellation
Fees, billing dates and payment terms are stated in your proposal or service agreement. Unless that document says otherwise:
- Work begins after the first invoice is paid.
- Recurring services are billed in advance for each service period.
- Invoices are due on receipt. We may pause work on accounts that are past due until they are brought current.
- Advertising spend paid to platforms such as Google or Meta is separate from our fees and is your responsibility.
- You may cancel recurring services according to the notice period in your agreement. Fees already paid for a service period that has started are not refunded, except where required by law.
We may change our fees for future service periods with at least 30 days’ written notice.
4. Your responsibilities
To do our work well, we rely on you. You agree to:
- Give us timely access to the accounts, websites, tools and information we need, and keep your own login credentials secure.
- Review and approve work within a reasonable time. We do not publish or launch client work without your approval.
- Make sure the information, content, images and trademarks you provide are accurate and that you have the right to use them.
- Comply with the laws and platform rules that apply to your business and your marketing, including advertising, privacy and consent rules.
5. Results and third-party platforms
Marketing results depend on many things outside our control, including search engine and social media algorithms, advertising auctions, competition, your website and your market. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads, sales or other results.
Much of our work runs on platforms owned by others, such as Google, Meta, Microsoft, website hosts and content management systems. Those platforms can change their features, policies or prices, or suspend accounts, at any time. We are not responsible for those changes or their effects, but we will work with you to respond to them.
6. Intellectual property and deliverables
Our website and its content, design, logos and materials belong to TJA Strategies or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share our content for personal or internal business use, but you may not copy, sell or reuse it commercially without our written permission.
Once you have paid in full, you own the final deliverables we create specifically for you, such as website content, ad copy and creative, unless your agreement says otherwise. We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, processes, know-how and any pre-existing materials, and you receive a license to use any of them that are built into your deliverables. Third-party materials such as stock images, fonts, themes and plugins remain subject to their own licenses.
We may mention that we work with you, or show work we did for you, only with your permission.
7. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other’s non-public business information confidential and use it only to carry out our work together. This does not apply to information that is already public, that the receiving party already had, or that must be disclosed by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it informally by talking with you.
